While my academic interests lie in studying European history (from about 1000 - 1800 C.E.), my extracurricular interests are geared towards music. I have played bass guitar for over seven years, the electric guitar for about four years, and I am currently teaching myself the electric keyboard. I chose to study history because, for some unknown reason, I find it fascinating, particularly the inner workings of the Catholic church.
