Alejandro Ruata

My name is Alejandro Ruata; I'm 22 years old and to those that know me it's no secret that I love video games. Since I was 6 years old and played my first video game ever ("Super Mario 64") I was completely enthralled resulting in gaming becoming my hobby and passion. However it wasn't until I went to a vocational high school, and studied Drafting and Design for 3 and a half years, that I realized gaming could become a career in the form of design. I really enjoyed using programs like 'Chief Architect' and 'Autocad Solidworks' and figured game design would be similar (obviously new programs to learn but the basics and concepts remain similar). So, here I am having just finished at BHCC. I now know more about computer art, design, and the game industry as a whole. Having gotten my Associates Degree at BHCC I went on to gain some on the job experience for a few months (my Summer and Fall Semesters basically). I've transferred to Becker College in Worcester, MA for the Spring 2016 semester onwards to continue studying for my Bachelors Degree in Interactive Media Design.
