Growing up in NYC made me want to escape from it, which is not so common among New Yorkers (who are typically quite proud to be a part of this city). I've always had a huge appreciation for nature and found myself always wanting to be surrounded by it, which is why Lyndon State is the school for me. I'm looking to get a BA in English and become a high school English teacher to show younger generations how valuable reading, writing, and both creative and critical thinking are.
