Alice Kaltenmark

Majored in General Studies
University of Dayton, Class of 2016
From Dayton, OH

I am a returning student with the goal of completing my undergraduate degree. I started my UD journey in 1979 after graduating from Northmont High School. My major was Data Processing with an Accounting minor. Today's equivalent degree would be in Management Information Systems. I left full time study at UD in 1985 to begin a family. I started my Information Technology career in 1982 at LexisNexis. I have been with the company for 30 years and have enjoyed a successful and rewarding career in technology management. I am a certified business continuity professional and am responsible for disaster recovery of the primary data centers for our parent company, Reed Elsevier. I am married to my husband of almost 30 years. We have four amazing children and soon to be five grandchildren. We just sent our youngest daughter to The Ohio State University and are now empty nesters. I am active with Blue Star Mothers of America and my home church, Grace Christian Center. I love to read and play the piano.
