Amanda Powell
University of Houston, Class of 2014
From Tomball, Tx
I strive for excellence in my academics. However, I know life is more that a great GPA, so I don't stop there. I also seek to improve myself in other areas of life and be the best I can be while encouraging the best to come through in others as well. My strengths are in organization, seeing projects through, and writing (my personal hobby). Every year, I hope to add to these strengths in quality and in additional quantity of acquired skills. My work as Supplemental Instructor has further brought out and developed qualities that I strive for such as high academic standing, identifying with and leading other students, and cooperating and improving programs with my professors (or other superiors). It's a good start and I am thankful to be a part of the new Student Ambassador Program at UH - Northwest Campus.
