Andrew Worthley

I'm currently a Junior at Cal Lutheran University, and originally hail from Dinuba, up in the Central Valley of California. My siblings and I are the fifth generation to grow up on the family ranch, and I am the youngest of four children. I was a four sport athlete in High School (Football, Basketball, Tennis and Track) and was also a  Madrigal Choir member and 2009 ACDA National Honor Choir Member. I enjoy my family, keeping fit, eating healthy, serving others, traveling to new places and meeting new people. I'm a member of Dinuba Christian Church and Vital Cross, Simi Valley, and have previously volunteered on mission trips, in vacation bible school, in praise and worship music, call to worship, and helping coordinate our annual harvest party celebration. Coming from a rural small town, I'm excited to be in Southern California and experience a new culture and social environment. I've enjoyed meeting people from all over the world here at CLU and hope to continue to grow not only academically, but socially as well.

I was a starting wide receiver for Kingsmen football here at Cal Lu the last two years (Frosh and Soph),  and was a captain of the 2013 team and lead the team in yards receiving. My immediate goal is for us to become a well knit team and to recapture the SCIAC championship in 2014. We are working hard as a young team to meet that goal.

I have a passion for foreign missions and have spent time raising money for a clean water project in Uganda as well as helping with maintenance and repairs at the Luz Y Vida Church in Ensenada, Baja, Mexico.
