Majored in Special Education
University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, Class of 2018
From Carol Stream, IL
I am a sophomore at University of Wisconsin Whitewater studying Special Education with a emphasis in Cognitive Disorders. I plan to work at the middle school or high school level in an inclusion classroom. I am apart of the Future Teacher Organization and hold the position of the Public Relations Coordinator. My job in this position is to promote the organization by hanging flyer, planning social events and making sure members are getting the most out of their experience. I am apart of the organization Best Buddies where I am the Secretary. With this position, I hold the responsibility of answering any email questions, helping with basic organization questions, keeping track of members volunteer hours and of course attending all the events. I am also apart of the National Honors for Leadership and Success Chapter, where students strive to be world leaders all while perfecting their communication and professional skills.
