April McGee-Flournoy

I have worked in the Architecture, Engineering and Interior Design Industry for over 25 years. I provided office administration and assistant services to Presidents, Vice Presidents, Directors of IT and Marketing, Architects, Engineers, Designers etc. Around the age of two I would create artwork for hours, then at the age of 9 I would draw elevations of homes, design each room then color them with my crayons. I was influenced by one of my parents to become a CPA because I was skilled at accounting and data processing in high school. I pursued and received my education in business, accounting and information technology. I'm a multi-talented, skilled and faceted individual that has creative and artistic talent. After working for Masterpiece Sound Recording Studio, Sylvia Moy Productions, General Motors etc. I began soul searching and realized that I wouldn't be happy in the above mentioned professions. After having three children and raising three step-children, studying theology, developing a women's ministry; Sister's of Virtue etc., I returned to college to pursue degrees in Art and Interior Design. I am currently president and founder of Interior Compositions, I plan to continue to work, and partner with, Architects, Engineers and Designers and transition into independing contracting. Also, I will develop my artistic skills and provide art and design consulting services in the near future. Interior Compositions Services include: interior and exterior design, event and wedding planning, private party planning, art and color consulting, home and office organization.
