Ayub Hagi-Mohamed
I, Ayub Hagi-Mohamed, have graduated from the University of Houston on May of 2013. I have been honored to attend such a great and diverse university which prides itself in achieving higher, and taking that extra step to make itself great. My university experience has made me enjoy working with others and making this world a better place. While being a part of the family of Coogs, I have realized the beauty and humanity in people, which helped me gain a passion for helping others. While still in school, I began working for a non-profit organization called Helping Hand for Relief and Development. Then shortly, after getting acquainted with the school, I began my capstone in teachHouston, an exemplary education certification program for secondary math and science majors. This provided me with the confidence to go out as a biologist, and share my passion for education with over a hundred students each year. I cannot speak about myself without speaking about my university, because I am the pride, and I will always be a Coog!
