Benjamin Evans

I am Benjamin Evans; a sophomore student at the University of Vermont, studying business. I hope to attain my Bachelor's Degree in Business administration come graduation, and circumstances permitting, I would also like to set the goal of getting my Master's Degree as well. A little bit about me: I was born in Raleigh, North Carolina and lived there for about a year until my parents moved back up to Vermont (the rest of my family hails from Vermont). I currently reside in Vermont, while I balance studying at UVM and working at my current job at Fastenal. I love sports of almost every nature, as long as the integrity is there. Hockey is defintely my number one sport, however, as I've dedicated an enormous portion of my life to the sport. As for things that can make me useful in a work environment; number one, I am incredibly driven. Give me a task, no matter what it is, and I will always workk my absolute hardest to ensure that I have done the job to the best of my ability. Not to sound clich, but I find myself to be a perfectionist. I have a very difficult time being satisfied with a haphazardly-done job, I take pride in what I do so I refuse to put a finished product on the table unless it reflects only the best of what I can be. Through my work experience at both Price Chopper and now Fastenal, I have gained invaluable customer service skills. A huge portion of what I do at my current job involves dealing with customers and making sure that they are happy. I hope you enjoyed this snapshot of myself.
