I was born and reared in Jackson, MS and am the third of four children born to Mrs. Norma Young Truss and the late Mr. John Wesley Truss. I have been married for the past twenty-three years to Mr. D'Ante'(B.B.) Catchings Sr; we share three wonderful sons and eight grandchildren. I have been a nurse for thirty-one years; I've always known that I would be a nurse, for as far back as I can remember. I count it a luxury and a privilege to return to school and obtain a professional degree at this time in my life. It is never "too late" to continue your education.
