Claire Fulk

Majored in Integrated Science And Technology
James Madison University, Class of 2018
From Linville, VA
I grew up on a farm in Virginia where I learned self discipline, time management and a strong work ethic. I am currently the Student Director of Equipment, Creativity and Innovation at James Madison University, designing logos and ads for businesses, working towards my second degree in Integrated Science and Technology at JMU, concentrating in Telecommunications and Network Security with elements of Information Knowledge Management, as well as conducting technological research. Currently, I am working with a team to develop autonomous vehicles as well as exploring the best approaches to implementing them into society. I am a graduate from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with an AA degree in Visual Communications. While taking classes, I interned with FashionMunster.com, an online fashion magazine and P.R. firm, Genlux Magazine and volunteered at fashion shows and other networking and marketing events. I have developed an exceptional understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and related design software, developing and articulating critical concepts, manipulating visual elements to portray a message and have a solid understanding of translating concepts between seemingly unrelated fields. I am also proficient in Microsoft Office, working with AWS, learning coding languages, using Wireshark and databases. I am conscientious, confident, self-motivated and create an environment where all members succeed.
