Fear struck me when I realized it was all up to me when college applications came around because of the lack of knowledge my spanish speaking mother had regarding college in America. I was determined to create a future with an unlimited amount of opportunities to reach my goals. I am proud to say I have made it to college and have worked up to my full potential to this day.
