Devin Gingerich

Majored in Computer Engineering
Trine University, Class of 2017
From Middlebury, Ind.
I am studying computer engineering with a minor in software engineering. I am constantly excited for whats next and someday I hope to be a part of that innovation. While in school I keep myself busy with my various student organizations along with a part time job. Since I left high school I have changed from a sedentary person who wasnt involved into a person who looks for involvement in areas that I never would have seen myself in even just a couple of years ago. I am constantly looking to find what is next for me in life and my career. My goal whenever I start a new project is to get it done right and to get it done in a timely fashion. I dont like waiting idly until someone else takes over because, to me, that feels like a waste of time. I always try to go above and beyond what I am capable of because that is when I learn the most. Taking on new challenges is one of my favorite ways of learning because it forces me to not rely solely on what my intuition might be but to instead think more logically on how to achieve the goal. In my spare time I work on various personal projects as well as enjoy time with my friends. Ideally, I would love to travel the world and gather so many awesome experiences along the way. I am always looking for a new project to take on and how to advance myself.
