The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies in the Stillman School of Business has set up this scholarship to assist Stillman School students who have an interest in entrepreneurship. The scholarships are funded through an endowment created by Seton Hall University alumnus David B. Gerstein, Class of ’63. In order to be accepted for this scholarship the applicants have to write an essay explaining why they want to be an entrepreneur and secure a business degree.

John M. Pocher was a graduate of the Stillman School of Business in 1988. He was tragically taken from the world on September 11, 2001, when terrorists attacked the World Trade Center. Mr. Pocher’s family and friends established this scholarship to honor his memory. Where the scholarship is normally in the amount of $5,000, the board who interviewed me found me worthy of an additional $2,000.
