Elise Santiago
My name is Elise Santiago and I graduated from the University of New Haven with a Masters of Arts degree in Community Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Services. I am also working towards state licensure to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Alcohl and Drug Counselor (LADC). I began working in the field of human services as a Counselor Aide for an organization which provided treatment services to adult individuals with co-occuring disorders. After moving into a Case Management role and engaging in group therapy facilitation working closely with the adult population, I was offered an opportunity to work with children and families. Since then I have been employed with an organization providing behavorial health treatment services to children with behavioral and mental health needs, along with collaborating with families and other service providers to ensure the quality of treatment services being offered. My clinical career path has led me to my present position as an EMPS Crisis Clinician providing clinical intervention and assessment to children presenting with behavioral crisis episodes. My goal is to continue my professional growth in the field of human services and providing the most effective treatment services to the population which I service.
