Working with my residence hall's governing body, hall council, I wrote down the minutes from all informational general council meetings and sent transcripts of all meetings to the residents of the building and the Kent Interhall Council. I helped to program for the hall as well as create large scale programing for themed meetings and Lil Sibs Weekend.

As a ride operator at Cedar Point, I ensured the safety of all riders by screening guests, delivering safety instructions, operating equipment, cleaning the ride area, and upkeep on ride maintenance. Mid-season I was promoted to an "in-charge," or ride leadership, where I managed the break schedule, was the point staff member for my crew, and completed ride closure checks and final paperwork. I helped to handle guest complaints or issues and provide the best day experience. I completed ride operating paperwork, maintenance requests, ride scheduling, and cleaning logs.

As a resident assistant, not only do I act to enforce university rules and residence hall policies, I also serve as a resource for the residents of my floor and building. I worked with upper classmen for a year and am now working with the freshman population. I complete paperwork, plan events and programs, hang flyers, talk with residents, listen to complaints and issues, resolve conflicts, connect residents to resources on campus, and serve as a liaison between the students and the department of residence services.
