Esther Ramirios, has been involved with several projects in Training and Workforce Development over the past 14 years. Her background in project management and adult learning led her to complete a second masters degree in Education in 2013. Esther is credentialed by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing as an Adult Education teacher and teaches: Elementary and Secondary Basic Skills, English as a Second Language, Public Affairs (Older Adults), Social Sciences, and Health Promotion. Esther also holds a Certificate in Community College Teaching and serves as a faculty intern/instructor for Los Angeles City College. Curriculum development projects include: Patient Centered Care for healthcare service workers, Worker Health and Safety, Computer Literacy, Communication, pre-college reading/writing skills, study skills & time management for older students, and professional development for K-12 teachers on adverse childhood experiences.
