Evelyn Asegieme

Greetings all! I am Evelyn Asegieme, a Junior at the Illustrious Bowie State University pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. So far I have been active in my community on and off campus.I am a member of the National Council of Negro women, Bowie State Universities Campus Activity Board, Bowie States Symphony of Soul band, Society of Sophisticated Ladies,and Sigma Alpha Pi(National Society of Leadership & Success). I am also the clarinet section leader in the band, a Resident Assistant and president of Support Black Colleges & Universities. The accomplishments I am most proud of is achieving my goal to bring Support Black Colleges & Universities to Bowie State University. Recently, as president of Support Black Colleges & Universities, I have been able to participate in a career day at a Gaywood Elementary School to encourage young children to not only attend college, but a Historically Black college. The award I am most proud of is earning the Nationally Engaged Leader Award and Presidential status from Sigma Alpha Pi. I enjoy participating in variety of projects for a positive impact in the world.I aspire to continueto be active in the Bowie State Community and outside.
