Faye Smith

Faye Loretta Smith is an esteemed member of Kappa Delta Pi International Education Honor Society and was recently named Human Resources Director for SC Labor, Licensing and Regulations. She was formerly the Human Resources Manager for Cafe Enterprises, Corporate Office for FATZ. She is the wife of Carey D. Smith and mother of Darius Lewis, Rosa Lewis, and Wavington Brown, and grandmother of Jamarius Brown. She is currently a Doctoral Student in Human Resources Management at Capella University and received her Masters of Human Resources Development from Clemson University and Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina in Criminal Justice. Faye Loretta Smith also serves the Spartanburg community with her third term appointment as a Board of Director for the Appalachian Council of Governments, where she is on the Executive Board, Officer Nominating Committee and Personnel Committee. She attends Friendship Baptist Church, where she is the Assistant Church Clerk, member of the Executive Board, and Senior Choir.
