I am interested in obtaining an accounting internship to gain on the job accounting knowledge and to help develop my abilities in the field. In the military I have been in many different working groups while overseas and been able to collaborate with people whose experiences are different then mine. I have also been in various leadership positions and always strive to lead by example. In my course work I strive to achieve excellence, continuing to invest in my development, making me a better and more knowledgeable person each day. I also embrace change and work to achieve results. The military has also helped me develop a great understanding of responsibility, to take ownership of my actions and learn from past successes and failures. With my military training and academic knowledge of accounting I believe I would be a valuable addition to your team.
