Mitchell Hausfeld

I was employed by the Ohlmann Group for the winter of 2014-15 in order to archive past marketing campaigns and employment records. In the span of a month, I was able to archive thousands of historic photographs and marketing campaigns dating back to 1949. I also created a visually appealing employment chart of every employee in the Ohlmann Group's history. I am continuing to work for the Ohlmann Group essentially as an on-call intern during my Winter, Spring, and Summer breaks.

From the age of nine, I have volunteered for the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio's annual Dayton MUD Volleyball event. I began my employment at EFWO in the summer of 2014 in order to assist in the logistics, coordination, and marketing of our 24th annual event. This past year's event marked our first ever 268 team sellout, and raised nearly $90,000 in revenue, our highest mark in the past three years. Due to the small size of EFWO's staff (four paid employees and two volunteers interns), I was able to enhance a wide array of essential business skills while also discovering the inner workings and intricacies that keep a nonprofit organization afloat.
