Heather Bowyer

I started at CSU Fall 2007 with the goal to get my Bachelors in Fine Arts. At the time I had no idea what medium I wanted to focus in. But once I took my first ever Ceramics course with Professor Komatsu I knew that it what was I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I took advantage of the opportunities open to me to study overseas in both Oxford, England and Japan. Now that I have achieved my goal of receiving my BFA I now have the job I have strives for. I teach at a community level with individuals who want to learn the skills in ceramics. Children and men and women of all ages are my students. I am doing what I truly love!
