Majoring in Business Economics
Miami University
From Burke, Virginia
I'm a business economics major with minors in physics and journalism. Why? Because I'm a storyteller. I'm passionate about finding, understanding and sharing the world's stories. That's why I write for The Miami Student, covering the broad range of student government activities on tight deadlines. It's why I got involved with two consulting organizations on campus: helping real startups and established companies in finding and telling their stories. And it's why I spend my summers coaching my neighborhood's swim team. I love the opportunity to connect with my swimmers and learn about their lives. I love finding what makes them tick, and discovering how I can make them become their best selfthe best swimmer, teammate and person that they can be. I'm also passionate about data. As an economics and physics student, I get to work with numbers to find trends. I've also been programming casually for several years, in Python and JavaScript. I've also diversified my studies because I love to learn. I'm looking for a role where I can continue to expand my worldview and grow, where I can combine my aptitude for communicationfinding and sharing storiesand my strong analytical skills.
