Emerson Independent Video (EIV) is Emerson College's oldest and largest television and video organization. The organization is student run and overseen by the student management board, which I love being a part of. I worked directly under the News Director in working and managing our several news programs, as well as assigning and creating content for our award winning website. I was also part of the management board for our Election Special, which spanned for four hours of completely live content. As of January 2017, my title was changed from Associate News Director to Executive Editor of EIV News. I am responsible for assisting in managing the studio shows, field coverage, website, and all other aspects of EIV News at the discretion of the News Director. I now directly oversee day-to-day budgeting, financial planning, business development, marketing, and recruitment. I serve as the department’s strategic compass, working with the News Director to set EIV News’ mission, business vision, and voice, ensuring that Editors and Writers adhere to and uphold all three.

On air work in various aspects: DJing as an on air personality, an anchor for the news department, a host for the public affair show, occasional tracking for shifts that need coverage and on air work for commercials/promotions.
