Jessica Keenan

Constantly pursuing a social workeducation and degree. Currently I am attendingSaginaw Valley State University. Freshman year of College I was a member of Active Minds at SVSU and became Secretary. I remained secretary throughout the duration of my Sophomore year. Also in my sophomore year, I became a Victim Advocate for the Sexual Assault Center of Saginaw where I remained a volunteer for 2 and a half years. During my second year I also became Event Coordinator of the Sexual Assault Prevention Team and held that position throughout my Junior year. I was elected Co-President of Active Minds for my third year at SVSU as well, as well as being inducted into the Phi Alpha Honor Society for Social Work. I maintained membership of Active Minds only as a general member as well as member of Phi Alpha during my senior year. Along with curriculum, I interned at the Livingston County Juvenile Court in Howell, MI throughout the duration of my fourth and final year as an undergrad. High School: I attended Walled Lake Northern HS and Oakland Schools Technical Campus SW. In High School I obtained my state certification as a Nursing Assistant. I also was in the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) during my Junior and Senior years of High School. In HOSA I placed 3rd at Regional competition my Junior year and competed in the HOSA State competition that year as well. My Senior year of High School, I placed 2nd at regional competition and 1st at State Competition, as well as competing at the National level in Orlando, Florida.
