I recently completed my Associate degree in Applied Science with focus on Cardiac Sonography from Kirtland Community College, a CAAHEP accredited Cardiac Sonography program. During this time I was able to maintain excellent grades and was on the deans list. I am also in my last year of the Bachelors Healthcare Administration program at Davenport University in Grand Rapids Michigan. I have also maintained the deans list while attending Davenport. I am currently looking to enter the field as a Cardiac Sonographer. I am also interested in advancing my career as a healthcare administrator. I am competent in all aspects of adult echocardiography including: standard 2D, M- mode and color imaging, exercise and pharmaceutical stress echo. I am able to scan on a variety of platforms including: Vivid 7, Philips 5500, Siemens/Acuson Sequoia, Siemens/Acuson Aspen, Siemens/Acuson Cypress. I can proficiently scan right and left handed. I am able to scan to a prescribed protocol within an hour. I am detail oriented, I am able to follow instructions to obtain the images needed to diagnose and treat the patient. I have leadership skills with the ability to think analytically and critically as well as the ability to strategically plan. I am educated and competent in areas of healthcare and human resource management, health care law and ethics, risk management, and health care information systems.
