As a Public Health professional and a Connecticut Health Foundation Health Equity Fellow. My focus is to serve as a liason/ link between the health/human services and the community. By building individual and community capacity through increased knowledge and self sufficiency, that includes a range of activities, research, intervention design, outreach, community education, informal counseling, social support and advocacy. I work towards improving the quality and cultural competence of service delivery and improvement of health outcomes.
