Studying Tollmien-Schlicting waves to attempt to delay the transition to turbulence on an airfoil. The research involves using Piezoelectric Driven Oscillating Surfaces to control pre-transtional laminar flow over an airfoil. Key roles are designing parts and communicating with machinist to ensure proper fabrication, reading and reporting on relevant articles to the research, setting up/tearing down experimental setups, and assisting in other projects at the lab.
