Student Intern at Teen Leadership Corps.
About: Teen Leadership Corps is the only 501 (c) 3 non-profit in the country established to provide schools with the educational training, instructional resources and financial means necessary to implement a successful academic student leadership course for high school students. While at TLC, I met with our corporate sponsors to discuss new initiatives and event sponsorship opportunities. Some of our corporate sponsors include, the Cleveland Cavilers, Cleveland Indians, Pepperidge Farms, and Cedar Point. I also developed proposals for other non-profits, such as the Boys & Girls Club, to successfully engage in partnerships. Additionally, I worked in a team environment to coordinate large-scale events to promote the organization. I still remain remotely involved with TLC and sometimes speak on behalf of the organization.
