I am an undergraduate student seeking to better understand how culture shapes individuals' economic and political behaviors. I have been passionate about connecting my interests in anthropology, African Studies, and government throughout my education. My interests span from culturally conscious development, especially in East Africa, to consumer research and deciphering how members of particular cultures connect to certain companies and products. I have a passion for anthropological research and believe that most issues, whether political or social, can be approached effectively from a culturally conscious perspective. My specific fields of interest include marketing, advertising, consumer research and development, and non-profit management.
