Kenneth is a graduate from The College of Southern Maryland, earning Associate's Degrees in Art & Humanities, Art & Science, Theater & Dance. and General Studies. He is currently enrolled at Frostburg State University on the Acting Track. He has been active in the theater community for many years with The College of Southern Maryland, Port Tobacco Players, Tantallon Community Players, Newtowne Players, and Saltnote Productions, and was an active Board Member for The Charles County Arts Alliance. He has appear on Port Tobacco's stage in, "Singin' In The Rain", "Suessical: The Musical", "A Christmas Carol", "The Pajama Game", and "Beauty And The Beast" and in July he will appear as "The Candyman" in "Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory". He also appeared as "Thomas" in "Baker's Meadow" for the 2008 One Act Festival entry for Port Tobacco Players. He also portrayed "Jefferson" in a staged reading of "A Lesson Before Dying" as a part of The Big Read in partnership with The Charles County Arts Alliance. He originated the role of "Cedric Jennings as an Adult" for another staged reading of "A Hope In The Unseen", a book by Ron Suskind, for "One Maryland One Book" Maryland's first state-wide community centered reading program designed to encourage everyone in the state to read and discuss one common book. At Tantallon Community Players he has appeared in "25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" as "Mitch Mahoney", "Aida" as Mereb, and "Into The Woods" as "The Wolf". At The College of Southern Maryland, he has recently appeared in "Fences" as "Bono". He's also appeared in "Love, Sex, And The IRS" as "Floyd Spinner" which earned him an "Irene Ryan Award" nomination, "Almost, Maine", "The Pirates of Penzance", "A Raisin In The Sun", "The Tempest", "Miss Saigon", "The Man of La Mancha", "The King and I", "Evita", "Barefoot In The Park", "Canterbury Tales", "Death Take A Holiday", "Sorry Wrong Number", and "The Music Man" just to name a few. He also took part in The Capital Fringe Festival with College of Southern Maryland in the original musical "Darfur: The Greatest Show On Earth" where he originated the role of "The Master of Ceremonies". At Newtowne Players he finally made a dream come true when he was cast as "Audrey II" in their production of "Little Shop of Horrors". He also performed in a musical revue at the Indian Head Black Box Theatre as "The Devil" in "Catch You On The Flipside" an original piece written by Charla Rowe and Lisa Kay Morton for Saltnote Productions. He also has done backstage work for "Noises Off" with Port Tobacco Players and numerous productions at The College of Southern Maryland. He has stage managed numerous productions with The College of Southern Maryland such as "Night' Mother", "Raggedy Ann & Andy", and "Don't U Luv Me?" on two occasions as a in house production as well as the touring production. He also stage managed "Scooter Thomas Makes It To The Top Of The World" on both The College of Southern Maryland's Stage as well as a Regional Stage in Atlanta. At Port Tobacco Players, he stage managed "The Wizard of Oz". Among his talents, he has directed A Dinner Theater "Touchtone 'M' for Murder" and "Bang, Bang! You're Dead!". He has sound designed "Almost Maine", "Night' Mother", "Bang, Bang! You're Dead!" and "Don't U Luv Me?". He also did the visual design for "Don't U Luv Me?" and "Bang, Bang! You're Dead!" all with the College of Southern Maryland. All these shows and backstage experience makes Kenneth a well rounded Thespian! He has also had small screen time in the PBS Special "A Prince Amongst Slaves". He would like to thank his Mother, Addie Leonard, Father, Kenneth L.
