Le`Gregory Dykes served as a Non-Commissioned Officer in a combat arms unit in the United States Army. After retiring from the Army in April 2010, he began working for the Department of Defense as a Psychometrist at Fort Stewart, Ga. Community Behavior Health (CBH). At CBH, he performs mental health assessments, psychological, neurocognitive, and neurological assessments on soldiers who suffer from traumatic brain injuries, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and chronic pain. He also has worked for the American Red Cross as an Apheresis Supervisor, were he supervised blood drives within the community for over 10 years. Le`Gregory Dykes attended Pennsylvania State University for undergraduate and graduate school at Savannah State University. He holds his Master of Public Administration Degree with a specialization in Health Care Administration from Troy University. He also holds his Bachelors Degree in Social Science with a dual minor in Psychology and Sociology, an Associates of Science in General Education, all from Troy University, alone with a certification in Phlebotomy, from Southeast Technical College. Mr. Dykes is also a member of the Troy University Alumni Association (Active member), American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), National Association of Psychometrists (NAP), the Disable American Veterans (DAV), Brain Injury Association of Georgia, Wounded Warrior Project (Alumni), The Honor Society, and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
