Marc Ducharme graduated with honors from SUNY Buffalo State College with a degree in public communication. Marc can strategically manage undesirable circumstances. He is a creative public relations professional with the skill set and determination to make a positive impact on an organization from day one. As an intern at AMDG Public Affairs, he gained experience working with clients such as 43North, Cabelas, Niagara Falls Bridge Commission, Welke Customs Brokers, the Valley Community Association and many more. During this time he was also a contributor to Western New York Craft Beer magazine. During his time at SUNY Buffalo State College, Marc was active in a variety of activities on campus. He is a national member of Lambda Pi Eta (communications honor society) and the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). He has also served as the firm director of Bengal PR, a student-run public relations firm. A former collegiate athlete, Marc is a natural leader and team player. He enjoys collaborating with others while also possessing the ability to work independently of others. As a strong communicator and negotiator who can build effective relationships, he specializes in finding creative and innovative solutions to problems. He would like to work for an agency, where he can work with a variety of clients while further developing his industry knowledge.

Bengal Premier is a student-run public relations firm established at Buffalo State College in early 2014. As firm director I am responsible for managing the firm’s operations and serving on the Chapter’s PRSSA executive board to maintain communication between firm and Chapter. Duties include the following: • Selecting account executives with the help of the vice president. • Maintain on-going contact with the firm, faculty and professional advisers. • Conducting leadership and general firm meetings. • Maintain files of all activities. • Oversee and approve client recruitment. • Evaluate and motivate firm members. • Establish communication between the firm and the rest of the Chapter. • Maintain contact with clients and account executives to ensure satisfactory progress. • Offer commitment and professionalism to the firm and its activities.
