In addition to studying Accounting, I have completed advanced coursework in Economics. My academic work has strengthened my quantitative and analytics skills, as well as, my understanding of the economics of financial markets and managerial accounting. Working with Assumption Student Government Association (SGA) as the class Treasurer, provided the experience and confidence to work in a diverse and fast paced environment. My student government experience has also allowed me to step outside of my comfort zone and take risks which have been instrumental in my success. One example of my success has been my involvement in chairing the Spring Weekend Committee at Assumption College. As a committee chair, I managed a group of 12 subcommittee members who are in charge of planning and executing a spring weekend for approximately 2,000 undergraduates.
