Marissa Phillips

I have experience with different animals in that I have restrained dogs, cats, baby raccoons, baby opossum, bearded dragons, geckos, short tailed opossum, and baby squirrels. I have also helped take care of horses, sheep, donkeys, bunnies, cats, and dogs at the local Humane Society in my hometown. Aside from the animal aspect, I am also familiar with children and adults with special needs such as autism, Rhett's syndrome, CP, and many others. I have helped in a classroom called the Multiple Disability Support Room where many students cannot walk, talk, or use the bathroom on their own. In my future, I plan to incorporate the two and hopefully find employment somewhere that I can assist children with special needs through animal therapy.
