Maryanne Elder

My name is Maryanne Elder; I am 22 years old; being from a small town has not stopped me from being very determined to succeed in life. I am currently finishing my degree in Media Communications at Thiel College. I have always had passions in pursuing a career in the media and working with others. From a small age, my mother noticed I was always talking to others and wanting to photograph everything in sight. This degree had given me the honor to meet and interact with new people. Through the years of education in Media Communication, I have managed to grasp the ability of interpersonal communication with my family, friends, and lectures. Thus, I started working as a freelance during events as a photographer during my years at Thiel College. I wanted to build my network in my field as much as I can know it would help my career in the future. Strong attributes that I have within myself be that I can take a leadership role at any given time to guide and educate those that are around me. As I am the middle child I am able to relate to elder people and younger people, I have grown to lead in my everyday life. Being independent was something I naturally grew into doing for being a middle child in a family that was raised by a single mother. I am able to take up any challenge headed my way and will dedicate my whole self upon any tasks.
