Student Lab Supervisor at Berea College
Ive been working the Technology and Applied Design Department for two years now. I started off as being a Teachers Assistant for the class TAD 130: Design and Documentation. Here I helped assist students with their projects, which included designing on Autodesk Inventor and using the 3D printers and laser cutter. I then moved to the woods lab where I was a Teachers Assistant for the class TAD 340: Studio Woods. I helped students with the different machines in the lab, which included: AutoDesk Inventor/Fusion 360/MasterCam, 3D printers, CNC work, power tools, Corel Draw, and the laser cutter. My final and current position is the Student Lab Supervisor for the Woods Lab. I continue to help my peers with their projects and help with the variety of tools. I also help my professor Dr. Gary Mahoney with projects and presentations over electric guitars.
