Natasha Durand

Majored in Master Of Science Ayurveda And Integrative Medicine
The University of Vermont, Class of 2022
From Cole Camp, MO
I am a full time student, wife, mother, holistic life coach, and veteran. I am currently studying at Maharishi International University in the Master of Science in Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine. I am currently working on developing a specialization program for Maharishi International University to allow students in the Bachelors of Applied Arts and Sciences to become MIU certified Life and Wellness Coaches. I begin teaching the course next year. After I graduate, I will work towards a PhD in Physiology. I plan to study the effects of Transcendental Meditation and Ayurveda on veterans and their families who cope with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I hope my research will add to the growing body of literature in this field as well as help to develop treatment methods for both veterans and their immediate family members.
