I've been a story teller for as long as I can remember. What's changed over the years, however, is how I've told that story. I've worked in sports, theater, live shows, film, video games, etc. I hold firm that people come for a spectacle, but they stay for the story. That is my passion: story telling. To me, there is no superior medium of story telling. Each medium, be it film, text, picture, or CGI, poses its own advantages and disadvantages. I've had a hand in all of them, and each allows something unique that the others do not. To limit yourself to one medium, is to entirely cut out a form of interaction with your audience. Currently, I'm doing research with the help of the Purdue Honors College to further my understanding of how interaction--specifically in this case, 360 video--affects the audience's emotional response to narrative and characters. I work best within a group of creative and driven individuals. A job is done best when the team is passionate about what they do.
