Product Engineering Intern at Nexteer Automotive
Responsible for Ford Mustang, F-150, and Raptor REPS (Rack-Assist Electric Power Steering). Conducted studies to validate prototype and production designs for ball screws, bearings, driven pulleys, assist cover housings, torsion bars, and full gear assemblies. This includes design changes, longevity studies, ultimate strength validation, friction studies, and cost saving initiatives. Designed tests and made recommendations using data-driven results. Worked in conjunction with Ford engineers, Nexteer’s Chrysler line, and Nexteer’s Prototype Center.

Design Engineering Intern at Henderson Products Inc.
Designed manufacturing cart to hold 5 tons with 3 FOS and a 16 ft adjustable spreader bar to hold 4,500 lbs with a 3 FOS. Redesigned body style for Black Belt Live Bottom Debris Trailer (81 original parts). Rapid prototyped a quick hitch and mount kit for national showcase events. Redesigned 5 models of brine makers ($500,000 per order). Extensive FEA analyses for all designs to optimize weight, stability, strength, and to OSHA certify. Designed fixtures for robotic welder.

Mechanical Engineering Intern at Paladin Powerful Attachment Tools
Created original designs for John Deere 3-bale spear and 3-bale grab both now in production. Engineered two tilt carriages for Terex that are also in production. Product tested Bradco Rock Saw and prototype McMillen planetary drive. Led ISO testing on Bradco Series II Brush Cutter. Fixed technical drawings, designed original parts, and created standard work procedures.
