Previously employed by The City of New York, I was promoted to Traffic Enforcement Supervisor. Traffic Enforcement Agents are responsible for the flow of traffic in the city that never sleeps. Although working for New York City was a privilege, my job position was not fulfilling. In Pennsylvania, I have worked with Country Meadows Retirement Community assisting the elderly. I enjoyed that opportunity to help other on various levels. To further help my community, I am currently enrolled at Cedar Crest College pursuing a bachelor's degree in science with a major in public health and a minor in nutrition. I also volunteer at Daybreak. Daybreak is a drop-in center for persons who are, or have been under treatment for mental illness and/or chemical use/abuse, HIV/AIDS, as well as the elderly. Daybreak provides a safe comfortable environment that encourages socialization. They also assist in the development of a support system, they provide physical and creative activities, job training, and providing nutritional and life needs.
