Nicole Jones

Hello. My name is Nicole (aka Miss Jones) . I transferred to TCNJ spring semester of my sophomore year from Arizona State University. I graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honors in the Fall of 2014. I majored in elementary education and English, hoping to be a school teacher between the grades of kindergarten through third grade. I have anincreasing passion and enthusiasm for becoming the best teacher I can be. In my free time I search lesson plans and save them in my teacher journal. I write down inspirational, educational quotes, and make "book" suggestion lists. Last summer I started collecting children's books for my future classroom so my students have a variety of genres and topics to read. I also started collecting books for my own benefit; I call it my"teacherlibrary." These books give me ideas, tips, and tricks on how to become that memorable teacher. I also created a Pinterest account dedicated to teaching and education (http://www.pinterest.com/missjknowsbest).I have followers which include many future teachersand teachers from around the country. You can see I have teaching on my brain--every day, all day long. All of my actions are driven by my passion for teaching, For now, I am studying hard and working every day toward that goal of mine.
