Nicole Jamieson

Majored in Psychology And Sociology
Wartburg College, Class of 2015
From Racine, WI
Born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin, I moved to Waverly Iowa to attend Wartburg College to complete my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Sociology. When given a project, I do not feel as though it is finished until I am proud of my work and it can adequately represent my knowledge and research in the field. I feel as though my work cannot be properly showcased until I can develop a presentation that is engaging and enjoyable. As important as it is to have information fully included, the finished product should also represent the anticipated positive outcomes. It is important to make a proper first impression. When working, I conduct myself in a professional manner that can portray my passion for my work. It is important to be prompt, and to create and maintain positive, professional relationships with employees I interact with on a day-to-day basis. When asked about my favorite past experiences it will not be surprising that almost all of my stories relate to my nonprofit work, especially my work during the past four summers at a Girl Scout camp in Wisconsin. I use my past experiences to build my abilities and manage my work habits. I enjoy learning about others' experiences to connect and fully understand their points of view. I continue my nonprofit and community service work to help others gain the experiences I have been lucky enough to enjoy.
