Nicole Salomone

Majored in History, Minored in Business
Fairleigh Dickinson University, Class of 2017
From Collingswood, NJ
I'm a non-traditional student, who would rather research than eat! My focus in my independent research is the late 18th century exploration for a clinical definition of death. In short it is the crossroads between the cultural history of death and London's scholarly medical community in the 18th century. A little macabre, and a LOT of fun. Here's a smattering of places I've presented/papered my independent research at since 2011: * British Society for Eighteenth Century Studies, Oxford University, UK, 2016 *Thomas Jefferson University's History of Medicine Program, 2013-2015 *Historial Society of Frankford, 2015 *North Eastern Popular Culture Association, 2014 *New England Annual Conference of Irish Studies, 2014 - Invited Presenter
