I am a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Bachelors of Science in Human Services with a concentration of Case Management. I have worked and volunteered consistently throughout college, both focusing in Care Coordination, Social Work, Training, tutoring, and the community. What I learned most is how to be innovative with my communication skills to relate to different demographics, whether that is different ethnicity or age groups. During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to work in The Division of Children and Family Services and WellStar Cobb Hospital Womens Center as an intern, I focused on families, women, children, and individuals. This position enabled me to work in multiple departments throughout the agency. During my time at The Division of Children and Family Services and WellStar Cobb Hospital Womens Center, I acquired leadership and interpersonal skills that Ive made transferable across many positions and components of my daily routine. I also built strong organizational and communication skills. I learned the importance of communicating with Administration and gaining trust in the agencies and building personal relationship with staff, as well as organizing a successful plan to accommodate individual agencies within our task. I have also become very well versed in creating and implementing resource initiatives that are helpful to the individual clients. Additionally, after assessing the diverse concerns of many participants and faculty, I have become highly proficient at operating with the proper mix of authority, diplomacy, and customer service.
My degree and experience in Human Services with a concentration in Case Management has provided me with a clear understanding of what I would aspire to accomplish with in my future career. The skills I have learned throughout my studies can align with any position I set my mind too.
