I used to be happy being a typical blue collared good ole boy who was ignorant of the goings on around him and didn't question the things that should be questioned. I was happy to complain about things I knew nothing about and I had no problem down talking activists and individuals who wanted change because I bought into the speil that they were just hippies and bums. That's changed I've opened up my eyes and thrown off the blinders. I am curious now not just about what goes on at home but about what goes on all over the world and how it not only affects us but how our actions affect others. I firmly thing that human rights should be a driving concern in our country and the death grip the powerful elite have around our throats should be pryed away with a crow bar need be. We the people are the voice of this country we're the ones who shapes it's future. We have to educate ourselves so that when we raise our voices in the call for change they ring louder then those who decry us. Never be afraid to ask a question or to question those who are above you if you think they are wrong.
