Currently a Computer Support Assistant at The University of Akron. Completed my Associates of Arts from the University of Akron Spring 2014 Completed my Bachelors of Science from the University of Akron Fall 2015 Enrolled at Kent State for a Masters of Library Information Science I am an author (Securing Library Technology, Neal-Schuman Publishers), published Poet (Writers Block, Spring '02; Kent State May 4th Contest, '06), artist (water color, pencil, oil), and have a love for science and science fiction. I lean towards being a MacGuyver type of worker, finding solutions for problems at hand with whatever is handy. My interest is to complete my Masters and teach in higher academia, sharing my knowledge and experience with the next generations of computer and technology guru's.

Support 25 technology computer labs, with a total of approximately 600 desktop computers. Support faculty in technology issues. Support staff in technology issues. Support Early College program students by maintaining/repairing issued laptops (approximately 400).

Network Manager - Jernigan Library at Texas A&M University Kingsville

Configured and managed multiple servers, MS Server 2003, maintaining Web interface and assisted in web page creation and maintenance. Worked with Innovative Interfaces, Inc. library catalog and interface, assisting in upgrading to Millennium. Created and maintained interface to Kent State’s Project Sails. Configured and managed Cisco Router and Firewall, and multiple Cisco Switches, maintained T-1 connectivity. Supervised Library Security and Coordinated Training with University Police.
