Phil Heskett

All my life I have had a desire to know how mechanisms work on a very complex level, that is what drew me to become a mechanical engineer. In my mechanical engineering studies I have become proficient in design of mechanic elements, thermodynamic systems, kinematics of machinery, control of dynamic systems, and mechanical vibrations. While at Mount Union I have been involved with Baja club, working to improve the design of the current car by applying skills that I have obtained in my studies. I obtained most of my hands on skills while working for Heskett Construction. While working for this company I was responsible for setting external wall panels, setting and sheeting trusses, estimating amount of materials needed, and also fixing machinery that was broken down.
