Poopalasingam Sankar
I got my PhD. in ultra-fast x-rays and Ms in Physics from university of Illinois at Chicago. I further got my MSc. in Physics of material from Postgraduate institute of Science, Sri Lanka and got my BSc. in Physics from University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. I have 8 years of hands on experience in generation of ultra-fast x-rays, and designing necessary instruments and diagnostics. I was part of the team to design one of the biggest KrF* UV laser system in US and built a laboratory for the X-ray micro imaging and Bioinformatics laboratory at department of Physics UIC. I developed an efficient IDL code to analyze single-shot data. The IDL code is presenting at least 8 different images related to ultra-fast x-ray source in pdf format to view single-shot data at a glance to understand the Physics behind the ultra-fast x-ray generation
